Difference Between Sick visits at DPC Vs. Insurance Based Doctors in Bergen County

Insurance-based doctors often don’t have an opening when you need it, and the next available appointment is not for several days. Visiting urgent care means that you will likely see a different provider each time, and that provider may not even be a doctor. The unique model of direct primary care allows your doctor to be available to you. You do not have to wait in a waiting room, and more importantly, someone who knows you and all aspects of your health will be taking care of you. As a benefit of membership, children of patients who already have a primary care doctor can be seen after hours for a fee of $50. This ensures that your child only sees two doctors, their doctor and yours, and care is coordinated between doctors. Dr. Kaul will call their physician during office hours and provide an update of what has happened so that everyone is on the same page. This helps you avoid wait times to see doctors who don’t know you, and helps your doctors work together to provide the best care available to you.
